Hi, I’m Jeff Keith, and I’m a videographer, photographer, Christian, software engineer, musician, and dad. Not necessarily in that order.
After spending my entire career in software development, including the last 20 at Microsoft, I switched careers to focus on videography and photography. I somehow saved up enough to support my addiction to video and photo equipment and started my “non-profit” photo/video business a few years ago. I say “non-profit” because I usually don’t make much of a profit and mostly live off savings. But I do get to choose what I work on and usually spend my time on projects that align with my core values.
Video Projects:
Events. Lots of events. From dance performances to drama productions, live presentations and more, with the occasional wedding or funeral (or Bar Mitzvah) thrown in. I love multi-camera productions and have the equipment to livestream the event as well.
Stories. I love how video enables creative storytelling. Documentary style, studio-based presentations, and more.
Livestream: I have the equipment and experience to livestream events and presentations.
Photography Projects:
Events, including dance performances and gala type events. An occasional wedding. I love just hanging out at an event, taking lots of pictures, and providing the photo coverage so you can concentrate on the event.
Tours: I’ve served as “official photographer/videographer” on trips to Israel and others things. Focusing on “capturing the shot” so others can focus on the trip.
Personal photography: I love road trips and other expeditions where I can capture what I see. I also love people pictures (except selfies – I’m horrible at those) in addition to the landscapes I encounter on road trips. And lately, I’ve been having fun photographing birds and other wildlife. From a distance.
Consulting:
I love sharing what I’ve learned and having both a computer background and real world experience with videography and photography, I’ve helped people and organizations solve related technical problems, including things like equipment selection, purchasing and setup, as well as special projects where I either create a special video or work with your team to help create one.
